Mission and Vision
At EKLC, we “Gather, Grow, Be Glad, and Go in God’s Grace” to share the Great Commission as commanded by Jesus in Matthew 28:18-20 (NRSV):

And Jesus came and said to [the disciples], “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

What does this mean? These are the guiding principles for our congregational life:

• Gather: Be together in community through worship and fellowship

• Grow: Learn how to be a disciple of Jesus and share Christ’s love

• Be Glad: Live with joyful and grateful hearts

• Go: Be an active congregation that makes a positive difference in the world

• With Grace: Know that Christ is with us and gives us strength, comfort, and purpose
